We will need a few details about your business in order to give you the best quote. We will then help you through the process step by step.

You can provide us with the information by calling a member of our support team on 0330 400 4444 or by filling out our quick and easy online quotation form.

Please ensure you have notified your existing supplier of your intention to switch, otherwise you risk automatic “roll over” at uncompetitive rates. Sufficient notice is required to your current supplier prior to your contract end date - you should find this on your gas bill. You will also need to make sure you are up to date with your payments.

What happens next?

  • Signing up

    When we have received all of the necessary information from you, we will send you a quotation which includes our proposed tariff, a copy of our terms and conditions and instructions on how to set up your Opal Direct Debit. If you are happy to proceed, simply sign the contract acceptance and we will handle the switch from your current supplier.

  • Opening meter reading

    When the start date for your Opal Gas contract has been confirmed with you we will need an opening meter reading from you in order to ensure accurate billing from day one. We will send you a reminder just before you transfer to us.

  • Welcome to Opal!

    Shortly before your contract start date we will send you a welcome pack confirming the successful transfer.
