In order for us to give you an accurate and competitive gas quote we’ll first need a few details about your business. You can provide us with this information by filling out our quick and easy online quotation form here.

Termination

You must make sure you have correctly terminated your existing supply contract or you risk being automatically “rolled over” or renewed for at least a year at uncompetitive rates. To prevent this from happening you must provide sufficient notice to your current supplier prior to your current contract end date – this is sometimes (but not always) printed on your gas bill. You’ll also need to make sure you are up to date with your payments. If you need any help or advice then please contact us.

Signing Up

Next, we’ll send you a quotation by secure e-mail which includes our proposed tariff, the principal terms of your contract, a copy of our terms and conditions and instructions on how to set up your Opal Direct Debit. If you are happy to proceed, you simply sign your acceptance and it’s done!

Opening Meter Reading

Once you are signed up, Opal will handle the switch for you and we will send you confirmation of the actual transfer date.  All that we finally need to complete the process is a meter read – as close as possible to the start date.

Welcome to Opal!

Shortly after your transfer date, we will send you our welcome pack confirming the transfer and welcoming you to Opal.
