Submit a Meter Read

If you don’t have AMR*, it is important that we receive regular meter readings to ensure that your monthly gas bills are as accurate as possible and you only pay for the energy you have used. Without regular meter readings from you we will invoice based on estimated consumption which may be higher than your actual usage.









Please complete ALL fields before submitting.

If you would like Opal to invoice you based on your actual reading for this month then please provide us with your reading between the 25th of the month, and the last day of the month. If you don’t send us a meter reading between these dates then your consumption will be based on estimates until we receive a reading as detailed above. We will send you monthly email reminders so that you don’t forget.   To register an email address for these prompts then please let us know at enquiries@opalgas.com.   Please complete ALL fields before submitting the form.

Alternatively, you can send a photo of your meter read to enquiries@opalgas.com. If you have any problems reading your meter then please contact our billing team.
