Opal is an OFGEM-licensed gas supplier created by people who want to change the way that gas is supplied to businesses across the UK. We do not have backgrounds working for “Big Six” energy suppliers, but understand how the gas supply market works and why so many businesses are dissatisfied with it.
Opal has been set up with the customer at the centre of everything we do. Our priority is to ensure customers are happy with their gas supply from Opal, and that any problems or issues are corrected as quickly as possible.
This means no call queuing, no overseas call centres and no customers shunted from department to department. Calls to our Yorkshire based offices during working hours will be answered within 30 seconds and you will immediately be put through to someone who will try to help you straightaway. If your problem requires further investigation or the involvement of a third party, you will have a dedicated account manager assigned to resolve your problem and keep you regularly updated on progress through to resolution.
